Each January, fans of storytelling and the western lifestyle travel to tiny Elko, Nevada, from all over the country and beyond for a weeklong party filled with conviviality and creativity. There is nothing else like the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering! It's a weeklong celebration of poetry, music, and cultural expression that has forged many friendships and brings rural and urban folks together.

About 6,000 people attend the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering, with our social media reaching hundreds of thousands of people. We have been featured by the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Vice, MTV, and Western Horseman.
